It’s been over six years since I looked over my resume and considered a cover letter, so this was an excellent exercise to get me out and flexing some of those dusty ‘self promoting’ muscles that I’ve neglected for the past few years. What I really enjoyed about this was the online aspect allowing me to read what my classmates are looking at and submitting. It kind of gives me a chance to ‘see the competition’ in a friendly environment and see what really works in today’s world.
